Do I need any preparations prior to these health assessments?

Certain investigations require you to fast for at least 6 hours. Small amounts of water may be allowed in all investigations with the exception of upper endoscopy. Virtual and fiberoptic colonoscopy will require 2 days of bowel preparation.
