Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I feel well and I think I am fit, why should I need a blood test?

A: Many diseases can be present without obvious symptoms. We know that raised cholesterol level will predispose a person to stroke or coronary artery disease. Diabetes can be controlled if abnormal glucose levels are treated early. Our clients discover health issues they did not even know existed! Detecting disease early can change and improve your health status.

Q: How often should I have health screening?

A: Health screening should start from the age of 30 years and be screened every 2 years. After the age of 50 years, screening is recommended every year. However, where there is a family history of cancer, heart disease, stroke or diabetes, screening should start even earlier as there is a higher risk of developing the disease.
